Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for a Team Leader with a service mindset to provide professional service to our customers in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role you will be at the core of KONE, acting as an everyday hero who makes people’s lives easier through safe and efficient elevator and escalator solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Apply safety practices on site, proactively identify risks and follow STOP and GO principles.
• Manage day‑to‑day on‑site communication with the customer and coordinate continuously with the Field Supervisor.
• Oversee equipment installation, ensuring compliance with KONE methods, schedules and quality standards.
• Receive, check, store and secure materials and delivered equipment.
• Report installation progress to the Field Supervisor and keep tooling safe and in good condition.
• Drive VA & VB repair activities, lead a team of technicians and apply lean principles to minimise interruptions.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or ITI/Vocational certification in Electrical, Electronics, Automation or a related field.
• 5–7 years of proven experience in the elevator and escalator industry, including high‑rise projects.
• Fluent in English and Arabic with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing on‑site teams and negotiating with contractors and clients.
• High attention to detail regarding design accuracy, safety standards and regulatory compliance.
