Senior Planning Engineer – Saudi National

About the role

The Senior Planning Engineer will lead the development, monitoring and control of project schedules for large‑scale construction and infrastructure programmes in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures that all planning activities align with contractual requirements, budgets and company objectives, providing critical insight to senior management and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain baseline, detailed execution and recovery schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and other approved tools.
• Create comprehensive Work Breakdown Structures, project calendars, activity logic networks and critical‑path schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site Engineers and other disciplines to collect progress data and keep schedules up‑to‑date.
• Monitor performance against baselines, identify delays, productivity issues and schedule risks, and propose mitigation or recovery actions.
• Prepare Time Impact Analyses, Extension of Time claims, delay analyses and other contractual planning submissions.
• Produce weekly, monthly and executive progress reports, dashboards, S‑curves, KPI reports, earned value analyses and look‑ahead schedules.
• Support tendering and business development by preparing tender schedules, resource‑loaded programs, procurement schedules and cash‑flow projections.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Minimum 84 months (7 years) of planning experience on large construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead planning coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
