Senior Procurement Manager

About the role

The Senior Procurement Manager provides strategic leadership for procurement and supply‑chain activities across luxury hospitality and high‑profile construction projects. You will shape sourcing strategies, optimise commercial value and ensure seamless delivery of project and corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with corporate and project goals.
• Lead procurement of civil, structural, architectural, façade, fit‑out, landscaping and specialist construction packages.
• Oversee tendering, evaluation, negotiation, award and contract administration for material suppliers and subcontractors.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with executive management, project directors and commercial teams to support project delivery.
• Drive cost management, value engineering, strategic sourcing and market intelligence.
• Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual and supply‑chain risks.
• Establish procurement governance, policies and best practices.
• Lead supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage procurement planning, forecasting, reporting and performance measurement through SAP ERP.
• Mentor and develop procurement teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of progressive procurement experience in construction.
• At least 8 years in a senior management or leadership role with a leading main contractor.
• Proven track record delivering high‑value procurement packages and supplier negotiations.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical, financial and risk‑management skills.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and decision‑making capabilities.
