Senior Project Manager - Airfield Development

About the role

AERTEC is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead airfield development projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing a multidisciplinary technical team and ensuring that all design, coordination and delivery activities meet the highest international standards for safety, quality and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate survey, design and technical management across civil, AGL, fuel hydrant, drainage, utilities, electrical and ICT disciplines.
• Ensure project delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Conduct design progress meetings, stakeholder workshops and value‑engineering sessions.
• Manage project reporting, risk registers and phasing plans.
• Oversee compliance with ICAO Annex 14, GACA, FAA Advisory Circulars and Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact between AERTEC, the client and all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering degree (preferred).
• 12+ years of professional experience, including at least 8 years on airside or airport infrastructure projects.
• PMP certification.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
• Prior experience working in the Middle East is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Civil engineering design and construction.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) methodology.
• Knowledge of ICAO Annex 14, GACA and FAA Advisory Circulars.
• Compliance with Saudi Arabian aviation regulations.
• Technical coordination of civil, AGL, fuel hydrant, drainage, utilities, electrical and ICT systems.
