Senior Project Manager – Airport Commercial Development

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will coordinate and oversee the design and construction phases of airport‑related commercial projects, ensuring alignment with objectives, timelines, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform site assessments and identify space for commercial development within the airport city.
• Analyze connectivity with terminals, transport hubs, and parking to optimize commercial placement.
• Collaborate with internal teams and market consultants to evaluate retail, food & beverage, and service offerings.
• Identify revenue‑maximizing commercial development opportunities.
• Work with architects, interior designers, and operators to align designs with the master plan and brand standards.
• Develop design concepts balancing functionality, aesthetics, and guest experience.
• Create initial layout designs focusing on space utilization and integration with lounges, check‑in counters, and transport access.
• Ensure designs comply with local, national, and international regulations.
• Address space and logistical constraints with practical design solutions.
• Integrate security and emergency response features into commercial areas.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, material specs, and construction guidelines.
• Specify technical standards for finishes, fixtures, lighting, and signage.
• Coordinate with Corporate Affairs for permits and approvals.
• Manage timelines, milestones, and cost estimates to align with project budgets.
• Develop step‑by‑step construction guidelines and quality control measures for contractors.
