Senior Project Manager – Interior Fit‑out (Riyadh)

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the interior fit‑out delivery of a high‑profile mixed‑use precinct in Riyadh. The role oversees the planning, execution and handover of multiple public‑use buildings, ensuring they meet cultural, architectural and sustainability objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed fit‑out delivery plans aligned with overall programme milestones and coordinate with base‑build teams for seamless shell‑to‑fit‑out transition.
• Plan procurement schedules, manage long‑lead items and support global sourcing strategies.
• Establish, monitor and report on fit‑out budgets, control costs and identify value‑engineering opportunities.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of consultants, architects, contractors and client representatives, facilitating collaboration with cultural advisors, end‑users and government authorities.
• Serve as the primary liaison for the client and key stakeholders, providing regular progress, risk and mitigation updates.
• Implement QA/QC procedures, conduct inspections and ensure compliance with KSA codes, local regulations and AtkinsRéalis quality standards.
• Identify and mitigate interface risks, maintain risk registers and coordinate with the Programme Management Office.
• Integrate sustainability goals through material selection, waste management and energy‑efficient solutions, and support BIM integration (LOD 300/350+).
• Oversee testing, commissioning, final handover, and delivery of O&M manuals, asset registers and training to facilities‑management teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in interior fit‑outs, including at least 5 years in a senior project leadership role within the GCC.
• Proven track record delivering high‑end buildings and familiarity with KSA regulatory bodies.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation abilities.
• PMP or equivalent project‑management certification is preferred.
