Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

JASARA Program Management Company is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management across its construction projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves accurate financial planning, budgeting, and contract administration to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quantity surveying activities throughout all project stages, managing financial and contractual aspects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents in line with project specifications.
• Lead cost control processes, conducting regular budget reviews and forecasting for ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to report on project costs and financial performance.
• Negotiate contracts and manage variation requests, ensuring proper documentation and cost capture.
• Conduct site evaluations and progress assessments to verify work completed against budget.
• Mentor junior quantity surveyors, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Professional qualification such as MRICS is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of construction costs, procurement strategies, and relevant regulations.
• Excellent analytical abilities with a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
