Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Cloud)

About the role

Lucid is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of its cloud‑based services supporting luxury electric vehicles. You will work on highly available architectures, disaster‑recovery strategies, and automation across Oracle Cloud (OCI) and AWS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide reliability engineering for cloud services deployed in the KSA region.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, Jenkins, Maven and Docker.
• Design highly available cloud systems and enforce disaster‑recovery measures.
• Containerize and deploy micro‑services and data pipelines on Kubernetes with Helm.
• Promote a DevOps culture, automate processes, and establish best practices.
• Auto‑scale, monitor, and tune Kubernetes workloads using Prometheus, Grafana or similar tools.
• Perform SRE activities: availability monitoring, incident reporting, on‑call rotation.
• Deploy, configure and maintain Kafka, Spark, Trino, Airflow, MQTT and related micro‑services.
• Provision infrastructure as code with Terraform and manage repositories in GitLab.
• Support NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB and Cassandra.

Required profile

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Minimum 6 years of SRE or DevOps experience.
• At least 5 years deploying and maintaining systems on OCI and AWS.
• 3 years of hands‑on Terraform experience.
