Senior Systems Engineer

About the role

Nortal is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our global delivery teams. You will work on cloud‑based applications, support hybrid deployments and help automate our release pipelines while ensuring high availability for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute application deployments.
• Participate hands‑on in CI/CD build processes for cloud environments.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve development and release workflows.
• Use monitoring tools to track system health and quickly resolve production incidents.
• Debug issues across services and full technology stack.
• Work in agile projects with globally distributed teams.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or DevOps.
• Strong background in Linux administration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Container orchestration: Kubernetes.
• Microservice architecture experience.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, GitLab CI/CD.
• API gateway knowledge: Kong or Tyk (advantage).
• Infrastructure monitoring: Elastic Stack, Zabbix, Nagios.
• Version control: Git, SVN.
