Senior Software Development Engineer – Application Support

About the role

Masterworks is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to lead application support in a production environment. The role combines deep technical expertise on Windows and Linux servers with strong incident and problem management capabilities. You will work closely with infrastructure, security, and vendor teams to ensure high‑availability and secure operation of critical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage production applications on Windows and Linux OS, following change‑management and IT‑governance policies.
• Perform cybersecurity vulnerability reviews, validation, and closure reporting.
• Develop, test, and deploy application upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
• Provide Level 3 technical support, troubleshoot live issues, and deliver root‑cause analysis reports.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve incidents, and drive problem‑management initiatives to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor application performance, proactively identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Assist users, deliver guidance, and conduct training on best practices.
• Coordinate with software vendors for bug fixes, technical support, and critical issue resolution.

Required profile

• Saudi nationals only.
• 4–8 years of experience in software development, application support, or related IT roles.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.
