Senior Specialist Corporate & Commercial Legal

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Specialist in Corporate & Commercial Legal to provide advanced legal advisory, drafting and transactional support across the organisation’s corporate and commercial activities. The role will independently oversee complex commercial contracts, corporate transactions, governance matters and regulatory compliance, ensuring that business initiatives are both legally robust and commercially pragmatic.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements such as service, consulting, procurement, partnership, licensing and technology contracts.
• Provide legal support for corporate transactions, joint ventures, shareholder matters and restructuring projects.
• Prepare and maintain corporate governance documents including board resolutions, delegation of authority, policies and internal frameworks.
• Manage disputes, claims and pre‑litigation matters in coordination with external counsel.
• Monitor relevant laws and regulations, produce impact assessments and guidance for stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive records of legal matters, contracts and corporate documentation.
• Coordinate with external counsel and regulatory authorities on specialised legal issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• Minimum 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience in corporate, commercial or general business law.
• Experience in a reputable law firm and/or in‑house legal department.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong drafting skills in both languages.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, commercial contracting and regulatory compliance.
• Solid understanding of corporate law and related legal frameworks.
