Senior Specialist Infrastructure – Temenos Transact

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and support of Temenos Transact core‑banking platforms. The role ensures high availability, security, scalability and performance of the banking infrastructure while driving upgrades, migrations and modernization initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch and administer multi‑company Temenos Transact environments.
• Lead platform upgrades, environment migrations and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Administer and optimise Linux/Unix servers (RHEL, Oracle Linux) and develop Bash/Korn Shell automation scripts.
• Monitor system performance, process utilisation, memory consumption and server health.
• Manage Oracle Database and jBASE environments, including backup, recovery, performance tuning and indexing.
• Configure Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard and other high‑availability architectures.
• Deploy and tune application servers such as IBM WebSphere, JBoss/WildFly and Apache Tomcat.
• Support enterprise integrations via ESB, messaging platforms and middleware.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automation, deployment and rollback procedures using Git and Jenkins.
• Design and validate disaster‑recovery, backup, failover and business‑continuity solutions.
• Collaborate with application, database, infrastructure and network teams to troubleshoot production issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure or platform engineering, preferably with Temenos Transact.
• Professional certifications in Linux, Oracle Database, VMware, cloud platforms or related technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi banking regulations (SAMA) and enterprise banking environments.
