Senior Specialist - Purchasing

About the role

The Senior Specialist – Purchasing will lead purchasing activities for electrical systems and building‑finishing materials supporting Red Sea Coastal Trading Company’s ambitious tourism and construction projects. The role ensures accurate requirement definition, supplier negotiation, order management and timely delivery while upholding cost, quality and sustainability objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies for electrical and construction materials.
• Track and report functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Partner with engineering and hotel teams to capture clear technical requirements.
• Forecast market trends, negotiate contracts and secure reliable vendors.
• Create and maintain material master data in SAP, generate purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
• Resolve discrepancies in price or quantity, verify quotations and maintain proper documentation.
• Identify high‑consumption items for standing orders and manage obsolete inventory disposal.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience for electrical systems or building‑finishing materials in construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of the local market and supplier landscape.
