Senior Stock Controller

About the role

SAED is seeking a Senior Stock Controller to manage spare parts and consumables for farm operations. You will ensure timely issuance of items, maintain optimal inventory levels, and support the organization’s agricultural activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee central storage of spare parts and consumables, issuing items to farms as needed.
• Monitor stock levels, inform Central Purchasing and farm management of receipts, usage, and movements.
• Conduct regular stock audits, identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with procurement to forecast stock needs based on seasonal farm demands.
• Implement best practices in stock handling, train team members, and minimize waste.
• Develop and track KPIs to evaluate stock control effectiveness.
• Prepare and present inventory reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably in an agricultural setting.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with purchasing, farm, and accounting teams.
• Ability to lead process‑improvement initiatives.
