Senior Structural Engineer – Large‑Scale Projects

About the role

Alfanar Projects is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead technical efforts on large‑scale construction projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring design compliance, and providing on‑site technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate structural shop drawings, IFC drawings, and BBS.
• Handle reinforced concrete, structural steel, precast, foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and walls.
• Identify design discrepancies, constructability issues, and site‑related technical problems.
• Prepare and follow up RFIs and technical queries.
• Coordinate with Structural, Architectural, MEP, BIM, QA/QC, Construction, and Procurement teams.
• Review BIM models, method statements, and material/technical submittals to ensure compliance with approved requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience on large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel, precast, and relevant design codes (ACI, BS, SBC).
• Proven ability to support site execution and resolve technical issues.
