Senior Supervisor - Hydrojetting (Oil & Gas)

About the role

ABIS is looking for a Senior Supervisor specializing in hydrojetting, high-pressure jetting and water jetting within the oil and gas industry, based in Al Jubail. The supervisor leads and oversees hydrojetting operations on site, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance with industry standards, and manages teams and resources to meet project goals.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage hydrojetting, high-pressure jetting and water jetting operations on site; shutdown and turnaround experience preferred.
• Develop work plans and allocate resources to achieve project objectives within schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental regulations and quality standards.
• Hold safety meetings, toolbox talks and train the hydrojetting team.
• Inspect equipment and ensure proper maintenance and operational readiness.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to align operations with project requirements.
• Monitor and report on project progress, challenges and incidents.
• Mentor and guide junior supervisors and technicians.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or diploma degree; mechanical or relevant technical qualification preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in hydrojetting or high-pressure jetting in the oil and gas sector.
• Proven leadership experience supervising hydrojetting teams and managing complex projects.
• Shutdown and turnaround experience preferred.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of safety standards and operational best practices for jetting activities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions.
• Relevant certifications in hydrojetting or industrial cleaning technologies are advantageous.
