Senior Warranty Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Warranty Engineer you will lead the end‑to‑end warranty claim process for pumps, mechanical seals, drivers and auxiliary systems. You will combine technical investigation, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions to improve product reliability, reduce warranty costs and boost customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full warranty claim lifecycle from receipt through investigation to closure.
• Assess warranty entitlement and determine liability based on contract terms and technical evidence.
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with engineering, QA/QC, production, procurement, service, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Act as the primary contact for customers on warranty matters, providing clear updates and status reports.
• Participate in customer meetings, present findings and recommendations, and conduct site visits, inspections and troubleshooting as required.
• Support field service teams during investigations and monitor warranty costs, pursuing supplier recoveries when applicable.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and share lessons learned to prevent recurrence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience with pumps, rotating equipment, field service, reliability or warranty management.
• Familiarity with API standards (610, 686, 682) and rotating‑equipment best practices is preferred.
• Proven ability to conduct RCA/RCFA, write technical reports and communicate findings effectively.
