Site Supervisor

About the role

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all on‑site fit‑out activities, ensuring that work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day site activities, conduct daily surveys and set‑out interior finishes.
• Plan, organise, and delegate tasks to foremen, chargehands and subcontractors, monitoring progress against the project schedule.
• Prepare detailed work programmes and project schedules using MS Project and maintain accurate daily site reports.
• Coordinate with all trades (civil, joinery, MEP, finishing) and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, mall management, landlords and clients.
• Ensure quality assurance by coordinating inspections, raising snag lists, and closing NCRs.
• Enforce health, safety and environment policies, conduct toolbox talks and report incidents immediately.
• Manage material delivery, storage, usage and logistics to minimise waste and prevent damage.
• Obtain required work permits and coordinate approvals with authorities and consultants.
• Verify subcontractor quantities, support cost control and review timesheets.
• Maintain project documentation, drawings, RFIs and site instructions, and prepare handover close‑out packages.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction or fit‑out sites.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of HSE regulations and QA/QC processes.
• Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Project for scheduling and programme management.
• Knowledge of construction site supervision, QA/QC and HSE best practices.
