SOC Analyst

About the role

You will join Accenture’s 24x7 Security Operations Center, protecting enterprise clients from active threats. This is a hands‑on role where you will triage, investigate and respond to real incidents while collaborating with a high‑performing global delivery team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM, SOAR, EDR and other tools to detect potential threats.
• Perform timely triage, validation and investigation of alerts according to SLA priorities (P1–P4).
• Execute containment, response and remediation actions using established SOC runbooks.
• Manage incidents through the full case lifecycle, ensuring accurate documentation and status updates.
• Escalate high‑severity or complex incidents in line with SLAs and provide immediate notification for P1/P2 cases.
• Conduct effective shift handovers with full context for active and critical cases.
• Identify and report operational gaps, anomalies or delays within the shift.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of detection, logging, automation and case handling processes.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, threat types, attack vectors and incident response principles.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems and networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, HTTP/S).
• Ability to work in a shift‑based, SLA‑driven environment with disciplined, process‑oriented approach.
• Clear communication skills and strong documentation habits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM, SOAR and EDR platforms.
• Familiarity with firewalls and endpoint protection solutions.
• Log analysis, network traffic analysis and endpoint telemetry inspection.
• Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework (optional but beneficial).
• Exposure to cloud security concepts in Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, BTL1 or CEH.
