Social Media Creative Director

About the role

This fully remote Creative Director role leads the transformation of client briefs into platform‑native social media experiences. You will blend strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, using AI creative tools to prototype, visualise and deliver concepts across Reels, TikTok, Stories, carousels and short‑form video.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret client briefs, define commercial objectives and develop social media strategies and creative concepts.
• Produce detailed storyboards, shot‑by‑shot breakdowns and AI‑generated visual references for designers, editors and videographers.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams, provide clear creative and technical guidance, and review work‑in‑progress against brief.
• Monitor emerging AI creative technologies, champion AI‑assisted workflows and improve ideation speed.
• Coordinate timelines with strategy and planning stakeholders to ensure on‑time delivery.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in social media creative, art direction or content strategy, preferably in an agency setting.
• Proven ability to translate client briefs into executed campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with AI creative tools (image/video generation, generative editing, AI‑assisted storyboarding).
• Strong storyboarding and shot‑planning skills with clear visual communication.
• Experience creating content for GCC or MENA markets is a plus.
