Social Media Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Social Media Marketing Specialist will lead the digital presence of McDonald's and McCafé across Saudi Arabia. You will develop and execute social media strategies, manage community interactions, and collaborate with influencers to strengthen brand relevance and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage day‑to‑day social media activity on Instagram, TikTok, X, Snapchat and YouTube.
• Develop content calendars and platform‑specific campaigns aligned with annual marketing goals.
• Lead community management, ensuring timely responses and positive engagement.
• Monitor social listening, market trends, cultural moments and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.
• Manage influencer partnerships, content creation and production, keeping them aligned with brand objectives.
• Coordinate with creative, media and production agencies to deliver high‑quality content.
• Track, analyze and report performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations.
• Support crisis management by monitoring conversations and executing approved response protocols.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing or communications.
• Background in consumer, retail, QSR or agency environments.
• Proven ability to manage major social platforms and influencer collaborations.
• Experience coordinating agencies, vendors and external partners against KPIs and budgets.
