Software Quality Assurance Tester

About the role

Rime is building a platform that processes thousands of video streams and real‑time sensor data to deliver operational insights. As a Systems Quality Engineer (SRE), you will ensure the stability, speed, and reliability of this infrastructure, bridging software engineering and DevOps.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available infrastructure to process real‑time video and IoT streams with 99.9% uptime.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and reduce release errors.
• Build and manage proactive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
• Optimize cloud resource usage, cost, and load balancing across servers.
• Apply security best practices, including encryption, IAM, and compliance controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible).
• Hands‑on programming/scripting skills (Python, Go, or Bash) for automation.
• Understanding of network protocols and real‑time streaming technologies (RTSP, WebRTC, IoT data streams).
• Experience with modern monitoring and observability stacks.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security, encryption, and access management.
