Software Test Engineer – API/Web Services

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to strengthen our quality assurance team. The role focuses on testing web services, validating REST APIs, and ensuring robust functional and regression coverage for our billing and revenue management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test suites for SOAP and REST web services.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using SoapUI/ReadyAPI.
• Validate request/response payloads, authentication mechanisms, headers, and HTTP status codes.
• Manage defects, track test execution, and report results to development teams.
• Contribute to test strategy, test case design, and test documentation.
• Collaborate on API automation initiatives (preferred) and support continuous integration pipelines.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in API/Web Services testing.
• Strong understanding of REST principles, request/response validation, and authentication.
• Experience creating detailed test cases and executing test suites.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Billing & Revenue Management (BRM) domain is advantageous.
