Solution Engineer – Data Platform Lead (Middle East & Africa)

About the role

Microsoft is looking for a curious and passionate Solution Engineer to lead the Data Platform initiative across the Middle East and Africa. You will work on cutting‑edge cloud and AI projects, helping commercial customers modernize their databases and analytics workloads on Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Drive technical sales with decision makers using demos, Proof‑of‑Concepts (PoCs) and workshops.
• Lead hands‑on engagements such as hackathons and architecture workshops to accelerate adoption of Microsoft’s cloud platforms.
• Build trusted relationships with platform leads and co‑design secure, scalable solutions.
• Resolve technical blockers, influence design decisions, and guide customers through migration to Azure data services.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to accelerate the Fabric Data Platform.
