Sourcing Manager – Strategic Procurement Lead

About the role

The Sourcing Manager will lead the end‑to‑end sourcing process, driving cost‑effective procurement of goods and services while ensuring high service levels. This role works cross‑functionally to develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver measurable savings and support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage sourcing events from vendor engagement through evaluation and selection.
• Maintain cost competitiveness and service quality across assigned categories.
• Design and implement efficient transactional and strategic buying processes.
• Own cost‑savings initiatives and track associated metrics.
• Develop and sustain relationships with key suppliers, industry analysts and internal stakeholders.
• Lead functional teams involved in sourcing projects, ensuring visibility for all parties.
• Monitor and report on category performance, including cost savings, quality, reliability and working‑capital efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field (required).
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field (required).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in category management and strategic sourcing.
• At least 5 years managing medium to large global IT or transformation projects.
• Proven ability to collaborate with business operations and functional groups.
• Experience designing and implementing strategic sourcing functions.
• Strong financial acumen with experience building Total Cost of Ownership models.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
