Sr. Machine Operator

About the role

The Sr. Machine Operator is responsible for running the production line and equipment efficiently to meet daily output targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, control and maintain processing equipment to convert raw materials into final products, ensuring line efficiency and meeting KPIs.
• Gather hourly process data, conduct quality wall meetings, and report material usage, waste, and energy consumption.
• Manage process workers on assigned stations, enforce good manufacturing practices, and address day‑to‑day issues with direct managers.
• Stop production in consultation with the Laboratory Technician when specifications are not met.

Required profile

• At least an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) graduate.
• Minimum two years of experience in a manufacturing or processing environment.
• Basic communication skills and a proactive work attitude.
• Ability to operate process equipment independently.

Required skills

• Process equipment operation and routine maintenance.
• Conducting quality control checks and reporting deviations.
• Monitoring energy usage (water, electricity, gas) and implementing efficiency measures.
• Ensuring hygiene, safety, and compliance with food‑safety standards.
