About the role

Salla is seeking a Staff Data Analyst to lead high‑impact analytical initiatives across multiple product lines. This senior individual‑contributor position works closely with leadership to translate vague business problems into concrete data‑driven solutions that influence top‑line and bottom‑line performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to identify and prioritize company‑wide problems that drive measurable business impact.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of broad data products and strategic initiatives spanning several domains.
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations rather than presenting neutral options.
• Influence roadmap and strategy by persuading stakeholders based on analytical findings.
• Maintain and evolve key metrics, ensuring data quality, reliability, and proper statistical rigor.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level analysts, fostering technical growth and best‑practice adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of analytics experience with a proven record of analyses that changed material business decisions.
• Strong judgment in prioritizing work and navigating ambiguous, cross‑functional challenges.

Required skills

• Expert‑level SQL, including window functions and handling large‑scale analytical databases.
• Advanced Python proficiency for data analysis (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit‑learn, visualization libraries).
• Extensive experience with BI platforms and semantic modelling to enable self‑serve analytics.
