Staff Engineer, Product Design and Engineering – Mechanical

About the role

We are looking for a Staff Engineer in Product Design and Engineering – Mechanical to support our oilfield services business. The role focuses on strategic interaction with key customers in Saudi Arabia and ensures smooth project execution from bid to commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison with strategic customers such as CSD and ADNOC.
• Build and maintain credibility with customers, capturing critical topics for the engineering team.
• Develop knowledge of centrifugal compressor standards (API 617, Saudi Aramco SAMS) and customer specifications.
• Support the Modon shop and internal teams throughout the full project life‑cycle, from ITO to commissioning.
• Oversee relationships with global and local vendors to ensure on‑time delivery of components.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanics, structural dynamics, rotor dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid and aero dynamics, materials science and structural analysis.
• Proven ability to lead complex, parallel projects and influence technical communities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
