Station Manager – Logistics Operations

About the role

The Station Manager will lead daily logistics operations at a JD Logistics station in Saudi Arabia, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound shipments, last‑mile delivery and returns. This role combines strategic planning with hands‑on team leadership to meet high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop annual plans and budgets, monitor KPIs such as on‑time delivery rates for same‑day/next‑day services.
• Manage local teams of couriers, drivers and customer‑service staff, focusing on training, performance evaluation and talent development.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, handle emergencies and maintain relationships with local authorities and communities.
• Forecast shipment volumes and resource requirements, and adjust staffing accordingly.
• Oversee day‑to‑day station operations, including inbound/outbound handling, last‑mile delivery and returns processing.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Fleet and Customer Service to ensure smooth station performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in logistics or management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or station operations.
• Proven ability to forecast volume and resource needs.
• Experience managing teams of couriers, drivers and customer‑service personnel.
