Steward – Kitchen (Culinary)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Steward – Kitchen to join Jumeirah The Red Sea, supporting food and beverage operations in a luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain dishes and operating equipment in food and beverage outlets, ensuring hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Prepare operating equipment for banquet functions by counting, sorting and organizing items.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and utensils to a high standard, minimizing breakage and ensuring cleanliness.
• Sanitize machinery and equipment according to established hygiene standards to prevent contamination.
• Adhere to strict personal hygiene and grooming standards, including prescribed uniforms and name badges.
• Remain vigilant for security concerns and report any suspicious circumstances to superiors.

Required profile

• Higher Secondary School certificate.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar steward or kitchen support role.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Understanding of cultural differences and ability to respect diverse guests and colleagues.
