Storage Backup Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Storage Backup Administrator to manage and protect our critical data assets. The role combines backup lifecycle management with hands‑on storage infrastructure administration, ensuring data availability, integrity, and performance across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Administer backup solutions such as Veeam, Data Domain, and Networker, including policy creation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Configure and maintain data replication across sites to achieve redundancy and meet recovery objectives.
• Monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and generate performance reports.
• Manage NetApp, Unity, and Brocade SAN switches, performing firmware upgrades, topology changes, and fabric management.
• Diagnose and resolve storage performance issues related to latency, IOPS, and throughput.
• Implement and enforce storage security policies, managing access controls and user permissions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in both backup administration and SAN storage management.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with infrastructure teams.
