Supervisor, Dimensional Control

About the role

The Dimensional Control Supervisor leads a team of dimensional controllers and structural fitters to perform accurate dimension checking across construction projects. Reporting to the Dimensional Superintendent, the role ensures all surveying activities comply with company procedures, health and safety standards, and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and assign daily tasks to Dimensional Controller personnel.
• Guarantee that all project work is executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Verify dimensions, measurements, and preparation of blocks/panels, ensuring they remain within tolerance.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment and tools, keeping records of site measurements.
• Assist the Dimensional Superintendent in training staff and implementing control procedures.
• Monitor corrective actions from the DC team and ensure they are completed by production.
• Participate in safety and toolbox meetings and enforce HSES regulations.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or equivalent qualification (apprentice level).
• At least 11 years of experience in dimensional control, surveying, or related construction fields.
• Good oral communication in English and ability to read engineering and fabrication shop drawings.
• Knowledge of construction safety, permit‑to‑work procedures, and quality standards.
