Supervisor - External Auditor

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Supervisor – External Auditor to join its audit team in the Middle East. You will lead audit engagements for financial services clients, ensuring high‑quality delivery that meets stakeholder and regulator expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit engagements, preparing financial statements, disclosures and client deliverables.
• Develop audit strategies that comply with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, delegating tasks and providing guidance.
• Draft audit reports and present findings to clients and senior management.
• Monitor engagement progress, adjust plans as needed, and assess risk.
• Maintain productive relationships with client personnel and ensure client satisfaction throughout the year.
• Stay current with developments in accounting and auditing standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience at a leading professional services firm, preferably a Big 4 or Big 10 firm.
