Supply Chain Financing Analyst

About the role

The Supply Chain Financing (SCF) Analyst will support the design, implementation and monitoring of SCF programmes such as Payables Finance, Inventory Monetisation and Receivables Finance. The role combines hands‑on financial modelling, regulatory tracking and stakeholder coordination to ensure initiatives meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in launching SCF programmes including Payables Finance, Inventory Monetisation and Receivables Finance.
• Analyse SCF structures such as reverse factoring, inventory off‑loading and Murabaha.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support ASMO SCF offerings.
• Perform inventory ageing, stock turnover assessments and evaluate working‑capital impact.
• Identify off‑balance‑sheet financing and monetisation opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models for cost‑benefit analysis, markup structures and holding periods.
• Track and interpret IFRS, SOCPA, VAT/Zakat and Shariah compliance for SCF transactions.
• Review bank proposals, prepare comparisons and support MoU discussions with banks/fintech.
• Collaborate with consulting firms on SCF strategy development and implementation.
• Conduct market research on SCF trends in KSA and GCC.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management and track KPIs such as supplier adoption and financial impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or related field (required).
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, CIPS or Islamic Finance certification are advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Trade Finance, Treasury or Supply Chain Finance.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas sector is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
