Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support demand planning, inventory management and cold-chain operations for fresh food products. The role will work closely with procurement, warehouse and sales teams to ensure product availability while maintaining food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast demand and plan inventory levels based on sales trends.
• Manage perishable inventory using FIFO principles and minimise spoilage.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for fresh food, ensuring cold-chain compliance.
• Monitor quality control checks and uphold HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse and Sales to resolve supply-chain issues and inventory discrepancies.
• Track KPIs, maintain inventory accuracy and drive process improvements through WMS/ERP systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory management or fresh-food operations.
• Strong knowledge of FIFO, inventory control and cold-chain management.
• Understanding of HACCP and food-safety regulations.
• Analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualisation.
• Working knowledge of ERP and WMS systems.
