Systems Administrator – US Military Support in Saudi Arabia

About the role

A bacus Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide technical support for U.S. military operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full‑time, onsite position involves managing user accounts, server applications, and ensuring compliance with DoD security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain local user accounts and Active Directory groups.
• Analyze and troubleshoot USMTM server applications such as SharePoint, AtHoc, WhatsUP Gold, and CATTools.
• Coordinate with RCC SWA teams (firewall, HBSS, network, AD) and DFAS for finance server updates.
• Perform backups and restores using Symantec Backup Exec.
• Apply SCAP and STIG guidelines to servers, applications, virtualization, and printers.
• Maintain compliance via eMASS and RMF processes.
• Enroll devices in the Purebred Portal for DoD PKI credential use.
• Handle security incidents, physical security assessments, and REMWAR/exception tickets.
• Support other work centers on projects as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of system administration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA‑Security).
• Microsoft or VMware certification.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
