Talent Development Senior Specialist - Saudi Nationals

About the role

Roland Berger, a consultancy founded in 1967 with German heritage, is looking for a proactive and experienced Talent Development / Learning & Development Senior Specialist to join its People team in Riyadh. The role designs, coordinates and drives learning and talent development initiatives that support employee growth, leadership development and organisational capability building. It is open to Saudi nationals only.

Key responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and manage learning and development programmes aligned with business objectives
• Conduct training needs analyses with business leaders and department managers
• Coordinate internal and external training, workshops, certifications and development initiatives
• Manage the LMS, training calendars, course enrolments, attendance records and learning documentation
• Evaluate learning initiatives through feedback, assessments and performance metrics and recommend improvements
• Support performance management, including goal setting, performance reviews, development planning and probation follow-ups
• Develop leadership development, high-potential, mentoring, coaching and career development frameworks
• Support onboarding and employee development programmes
• Prepare reports and dashboards on training participation, learning effectiveness and talent KPIs
• Partner with business leaders and HR teams to identify capability gaps and manage relationships with external training providers
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, Education or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in talent development, learning and development, talent management or a similar role
• Experience designing, coordinating and delivering learning and development programmes
• Experience supporting performance management and managing LMS and learning records
• Fluent in English and Arabic; previous consulting or professional services experience highly desirable

Required skills

• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design and learning methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with HRIS, LMS or talent management systems preferred
• Project management, stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills
