Tariff Approvals & Regulations Specialist

About the role

The Tariff Approvals & Regulations Specialist will support Mobily’s regulatory department by shaping tariff policies, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations, and providing analytical insights for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of regulatory policies and procedures.
• Liaise with the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) to define tariff models and interpret regulatory principles.
• Develop detailed scenario models to inform management when tariffs drive decisions.
• Validate model assumptions against actual performance and refine them.
• Build and maintain a Regulatory & Tariff Data Warehouse to support pricing activities.
• Recommend procedural improvements to meet legislative requirements while delivering cost‑effective services.
• Establish relationships with other telecom operators for knowledge sharing and coordinated lobbying.
• Maintain ongoing contact with government agencies to stay current on regulations and protect Mobily’s interests.
• Provide guidance to internal departments on the impact of upcoming regulations.
• Benchmark tariff models and cost structures against national and international service providers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by senior supervision.

Required profile

• Degree in Law or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of telecom regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in tariff modeling, data analysis, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
