Tax Senior Analyst

About the role

Join one of the world’s largest food companies as a Tax Senior Analyst, supporting tax compliance and accounting across the Sadia Halal structure. You will work closely with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting in multiple GCC jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate corporate income tax, Zakat, VAT, withholding tax and other filings across several jurisdictions.
• Manage tax refund and credit offset processes, ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Support monthly and year‑end tax accounting activities, including provisions, liabilities, deferred tax assets and GL reconciliations.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to guarantee accurate tax reporting and compliance.
• Assist internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Handle tax inspections, authority requests and litigation matters as needed.
• Monitor GCC tax regulations, assess impacts and identify tax‑saving opportunities.
• Provide tax guidance to internal stakeholders and support department budgeting and administrative tasks.
• Ensure adherence to the company’s sustainability and ESG commitments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• 2‑5 years of experience in a tax function within a multinational, consulting or advisory environment.
• Strong knowledge of GCC tax regulations (Zakat, CIT, VAT, WHT).
• Understanding of IFRS accounting principles and tax reporting requirements.
• Experience with tax authority portals and ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Exposure to international tax structures, tax treaties, risk management or transfer pricing is advantageous.
