Team Manager – Poultry Processing

About the role

Almarai is seeking a proactive Team Manager to lead a self‑directing, multi‑functional team responsible for the intake and processing of poultry products. The role ensures that production meets internal customer requirements while adhering to strict quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily poultry intake and processing operations to achieve defined product specifications.
• Maintain efficiency targets, minimize loss‑in‑process, and ensure zero non‑conformance.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to set and achieve production plans and targets.
• Promote a safe working environment and reduce workplace accidents.
• Identify and propose plant modifications and process optimisations to lower costs and improve service levels.

Required profile

• Degree in Poultry Processing, Food Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a poultry or food manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing a multinational and multifunctional workforce.
• Proven ability to work in a high‑volume operational setting.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of ISO 9000 quality standards.
• Familiarity with HACCP implementation.
• Experience with automated process control systems.
• Strong capability in process optimisation and cost reduction.
