Technical Engineer – BIM & CAD (Civil/Structural)

About the role

Double Marks is looking for a hands‑on Technical Engineer specialized in BIM and shop drawings to support a major data‑center project in Riyadh. The role will involve creating and maintaining detailed civil and structural models and drawings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage structural and civil shop drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Create, update, and maintain project BIM models in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP disciplines and perform clash detection using Navisworks.
• Prepare structural plans, sections, reinforcement details, openings, and other construction drawings.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications and raise RFIs or technical queries for design discrepancies.
• Incorporate approved design changes and site modifications into drawings and models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience producing construction/shop drawings from IFC documents.
• Previous work on large‑scale, mission‑critical or data‑center projects is an advantage.
• Experience in Saudi/GCC construction environments is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) preferred.
• Ability to coordinate structural, architectural and MEP models.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete construction and structural drawing standards.
