Technical Office Manager – Construction & Fit‑Out Projects

About the role

Environment Icon (EI) is seeking a Technical Office Manager to lead all technical office activities for its construction and fit‑out projects across Saudi Arabia. The role ensures that shop drawings, technical submittals, material approvals and coordination between architectural, structural and MEP disciplines are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the preparation, review and submission of shop drawings, technical submittals and material approvals.
• Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of designs.
• Review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), variation orders and subcontractor invoices for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract documents and quality standards.
• Lead and develop the technical office team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support value‑engineering initiatives to optimise cost and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in construction and fit‑out projects, including at least 5 years in a senior technical role.
• Strong background in luxury fit‑out projects and MEP coordination.
• Proven ability to interpret drawings, specifications and contract documents.
