Technical Support Engineer (Saudi Nationals Only)

About the role

ABYAT is seeking a proactive Technical Support Engineer to join its Technology Infrastructure team in Al Madinah. The role focuses on delivering first‑line support for end‑user devices, Microsoft 365 services, POS systems, and overall IT infrastructure across retail stores and corporate offices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software, Windows OS, and peripheral devices.
• Administer Active Directory – create, modify, and manage user accounts and access.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, and Office.
• Troubleshoot networking issues (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi).
• Maintain and support retail technology including POS terminals, barcode scanners, and receipt printers.
• Manage incidents and service requests via the IT ticketing system and document resolutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, escalating complex issues when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 1‑5 years of experience in technical support, helpdesk, or service desk environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience administering Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
