Technical Support Officer – IT Help Desk

About the role

GT Medical is seeking a proactive Technical Support Officer to deliver first‑line IT assistance across the organization. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide range of hardware, software, network, and system issues while ensuring smooth daily technology operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support via phone, email, remote tools, and on‑site visits.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Manage Microsoft 365 user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
• Support Outlook and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT teams when needed.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding IT setup.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Troubleshoot Wi‑Fi and network connectivity issues.
• Install and configure Grandstream IP phones, Hikvision CCTV, and ZKTeco biometric systems.
• Deploy and manage ESET endpoint protection.
• Provide user training and promote IT best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or help‑desk roles.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Windows operating system.
• Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
• Networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting).
• Hardware and software installation and troubleshooting.
• IP telephony – Grandstream.
• CCTV systems – Hikvision.
• Biometric/fingerprint systems – ZKTeco.
• Endpoint protection – ESET.
