Technician – Airfield Maintenance

About the role

ADB SAFEGATE is seeking a Technician to perform corrective and preventive maintenance on airfield ground lighting and related systems at Red Sea International Airport. The role involves electrical work, equipment repair, and operating airside vehicles while working rotating shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Execute work orders from Maintenance Management and Engineers, including airside tasks.
• Replace broken equipment on an emergency (corrective) or scheduled (preventive) basis.
• Perform workshop activities such as disassembly, inspection, part replacement, reassembly, and functional checks.
• Conduct general custodial maintenance, vehicle and tool upkeep, and cleaning of shop areas.
• Participate in training sessions to maintain high competency levels.
• Contribute to meeting SLA contract KPIs.

Required profile

• Proficient use of standard and specialized maintenance tools.
• Fluent in English; additional language is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
