Technician – Nozzle Assembly & Packing

About the role

The Technician – Nozzle Assembly and Packing supports final assembly of gas‑turbine components, focusing on nozzle seal, nozzle and retaining ring installation, and packing activities. The role combines hands‑on mechanical work with Lean manufacturing practices to ensure safety, quality and productivity on the line.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nozzle hardware installations following approved work instructions, process specifications and engineering requirements.
• Execute packing activities in line with approved procedures and packaging standards.
• Read and interpret work instructions, quality forms and standard work sheets to guarantee accurate execution.
• Record and maintain process data, inspect parts before and after assembly, and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, 5S‑compliant work area and use installation tools, fixtures, packaging materials and hand tools safely.
• Participate in problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action activities.
• Identify and communicate continuous‑improvement opportunities in safety, quality, cycle time and waste reduction.
• Use shop‑floor systems such as ELM and SmartShop as required.

Required profile

• Diploma, technical college degree or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a technician, manufacturing, assembly, packing or industrial role.
• Experience with mechanical assembly processes and grinding (cutting, polishing, hole opening).
