Technology Director

About the role

The Technology Director will lead the technical vision and delivery of innovative finance solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and regulatory compliance. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee a multicultural team across multiple time zones and act as the primary technical liaison with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the technical vision, aligning with long‑term scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Lead architectural reviews, enforce enterprise standards, and select appropriate technologies and platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Ensure compliance with SAMA regulations, security standards, and all relevant legal requirements.
• Inspire and manage a large, distributed team of engineers, architects, QA specialists, and delivery managers.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with client stakeholders, translating complex concepts into business‑friendly language.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, delivering high‑quality milestones on schedule.
• Identify emerging technologies, including AI tools, to enhance delivery efficiency and product innovation.

Required profile

• 15+ years of senior technical leadership experience, preferably as a CTO or equivalent.
• Proven track record in banking or fintech delivering large‑scale, complex projects.
• Deep expertise in software engineering, systems architecture, and agile delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across cultures and geographies.
• Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach and willingness to be onsite in Saudi Arabia.
• Available to work Sunday to Thursday schedule.
