Technology Standardization Principal

About the role

The Technology Standardization Principal leads the creation, implementation, and governance of enterprise‑wide technology standards, frameworks, and best practices. This strategic position ensures consistency, interoperability, scalability, security and operational efficiency across all technology environments, platforms and digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise technology standardization strategies, frameworks and governance models.
• Define organization‑wide standards for infrastructure, platforms, applications, cloud environments, networks and technology operations.
• Establish standardization roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture and digital transformation goals.
• Lead technology standards review boards, governance committees and architecture alignment initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry frameworks, cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture teams to align standards with strategic architecture principles and support modernization programs.
• Set lifecycle management standards for hardware, software, cloud services and enterprise platforms.
• Monitor adherence to governance controls, identify remediation needs and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technology governance, standardization or enterprise architecture leadership.
• Deep understanding of international technology standards such as ITU, ETSI, 3GPP, ISO and satellite‑specific regulations.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate existing environments and identify consolidation opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities to drive cross‑functional alignment.

Required skills
