Testing Technician (High Voltage)

About the role

As a Testing Technician you will join Hitachi Energy’s High Voltage business in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will carry out testing of high‑voltage capacitor banks, ensuring safety, quality and productivity while supporting the delivery of reliable power‑grid solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute HV testing activities following test instructions, drawings, checklists and customer specifications.
• Adhere strictly to safety rules, regulations and company safety‑hazard reporting tools (Intelex).
• Report quality non‑conformities using the NCR process in SAP/MES.
• Apply lean manufacturing methods such as 5S, Kaizen and waste reduction.
• Complete mandatory training courses (Safety, Lean Six Sigma white‑belt, etc.).
• Collaborate with colleagues and perform any additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 0‑3 years of experience in high‑voltage testing or a related field.
• Strong understanding of electrical symbols, schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
