Transition Manager – Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

NTT DATA is seeking a Transition Manager on a fixed‑term basis to lead and coordinate service transition projects. You will ensure that each transition follows governance standards, meets client expectations, and delivers operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, govern and control transition programmes from inception to completion.
• Plan and execute testing, training and change‑management activities to mitigate risk.
• Conduct due‑diligence investigations to capture precise client requirements.
• Apply standard project‑management methodologies to plan and manage service and outsource transitions.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with client stakeholders, facilitating regular engagement sessions.
• Prepare and distribute communication reports to keep all parties informed.
• Identify resource needs, negotiate usage and manage the cross‑functional transition team.
• Foster a collaborative culture focused on operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Relevant ITIL certification preferred; PMBOK and/or Prince2 certifications desirable.
• Solid experience in service transitioning and project management within a global IT services environment.
• Proven experience in contractual review and service definition engagements.
• Strong business and commercial acumen with strategic thinking ability.
